वह्निरुवाच । अभक्ष्यभक्षणे शक्रो मामिच्छति नियोजितुम् । तेनैव न करोत्येष वृष्टिं मर्त्त्ये सुरेश्वरः
vahniruvāca | abhakṣyabhakṣaṇe śakro māmicchati niyojitum | tenaiva na karotyeṣa vṛṣṭiṃ marttye sureśvaraḥ
Agni sprach: „Śakra will mich dazu einsetzen, das zu verzehren, was nicht verzehrt werden darf. Eben deshalb hält dieser Herr der Götter den Regen von der Welt der Sterblichen zurück.“
