ततः कृष्णाजिने बद्ध्वा कुण्डले न्यस्य भूतले । आरुरोह फलाकांक्षी स मुनिः क्षुधयाऽन्वितः
tataḥ kṛṣṇājine baddhvā kuṇḍale nyasya bhūtale | āruroha phalākāṃkṣī sa muniḥ kṣudhayā'nvitaḥ
Dann band er die Ohrringe in sein schwarzes Antilopenfell und legte sie auf den Boden. Der Weise — nach den Früchten verlangend und vom Hunger gedrängt — stieg hinauf (auf den Baum).
