Transliteration

niyato niyatāhāraḥ sarvabhūtahite rataḥ | varṣāsvākāśavāsī ca hemaṃte salilāśayaḥ

Translation

Er war gezügelt, maßvoll in der Nahrung und dem Wohl aller Wesen zugetan. In der Regenzeit verweilte er unter freiem Himmel, und im Winter blieb er im Wasser.
