ततोऽस्य प्रददौ काले व्रतं विप्रजनोचितम् । समभ्येत्य स्वयं शुक्रो दानवस्यापि संद्विजः
tato'sya pradadau kāle vrataṃ viprajanocitam | samabhyetya svayaṃ śukro dānavasyāpi saṃdvijaḥ
Dann, zur rechten Zeit, wurde ihm ein Gelübde verliehen, wie es sich für Schüler aus brahmanischer Geburt ziemt. Śukra selbst kam persönlich—Lehrer der Dānavas und ehrwürdiger Zweimalgeborener.
