Transliteration

athāsau vavṛdhe bālaḥ śuklapakṣe yathoḍurāṭ | pitṛmātṛkṛtānaṃdo bandhuvargeṇa lālitaḥ

Translation

Daraufhin wuchs der Knabe Tag für Tag heran, wie der Mond in der hellen Monatshälfte; er bereitete Vater und Mutter Freude und wurde vom Kreis der Verwandten liebevoll umsorgt.
