taptastaṃ gālavaḥ prāha mā tvaṃ duḥkhapadaṃ vraja | madvākyātputrakaṃ vṛkṣaṃ viṣṇusaṃjñaṃ drutaṃ kuru
Von Mitgefühl bewegt, sprach Gālava zu ihm: „Geh nicht in den Zustand des Kummers. Auf mein Wort hin nimm dieses Baumkind sogleich als deinen Sohn an und gib ihm den Namen ‚Viṣṇu‘.“
