एवमुक्त्वा महादेवो गतश्चादर्शनं ततः । सोऽपि मंकणकस्तत्र तपस्तेपे मुनीश्वरः
evamuktvā mahādevo gataścādarśanaṃ tataḥ | so'pi maṃkaṇakastatra tapastepe munīśvaraḥ
Nachdem Mahādeva so gesprochen hatte, entschwand er dem Blick. Dort aber setzte der Herr der Weisen, Maṅkaṇaka, seine Askese (tapas) fort.
