Rājā (the King)
Scene: A king addresses a brāhmaṇa, gesturing toward a piece of wood where a distinct sacred form stands forth at its front; attendants hold ritual items for abhiṣeka.
Reverence to sacred manifestations and reliance on mantra-guided ritual action (abhiṣeka) to sanctify and restore auspiciousness.
The verse sits within the Nāgara Khaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya, but this single line does not name the tīrtha explicitly.
Abhiṣeka—ritual bathing/consecration—performed using the officiant’s mantra and liṅga.
