Transliteration

śākalya uvāca | rājā'deśaḥ sadā kāryaḥ puruṣairdeśavāsibhiḥ | yogakṣemavidhānāya tathā lābhāya kevalam

Translation

Śākalya sprach: „Der Befehl des Königs soll von den Männern, die in seinem Reich wohnen, stets ausgeführt werden; denn er dient der Ordnung von yogakṣema — Wohlergehen und Schutz — und ebenso dem Gedeihen.“
