तथा स्त्रीणां पतिं मुक्त्वा नान्यास्ति भुवि देवता । जनन्यां जीवमानायां तथैव च सुतस्य च

tathā strīṇāṃ patiṃ muktvā nānyāsti bhuvi devatā | jananyāṃ jīvamānāyāṃ tathaiva ca sutasya ca

Ebenso gilt für Frauen: außer dem Gatten gibt es auf Erden keine andere Gottheit. In gleicher Weise auch für den Sohn: solange die Mutter lebt, ist sie für ihn die höchste Autorität.
