सूत उवाच । तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा तुष्टस्तस्य पितामहः । ब्राह्मणत्वं स्वयं दत्त्वा ततः प्रोवाच सादरम्
sūta uvāca | tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā tuṣṭastasya pitāmahaḥ | brāhmaṇatvaṃ svayaṃ dattvā tataḥ provāca sādaram
Sūta sprach: Als er seine Worte vernahm, war sein Ahnvater (Brahmā) erfreut; und indem er ihm eigenhändig den Stand eines Brāhmaṇa verlieh, redete er danach ehrerbietig zu ihm.
