छिद्रमन्वेषमाणस्तु सुसूक्ष्ममपि च द्विजाः । न तस्या लभते क्वाऽपि गता मासा नवैव तु
chidramanveṣamāṇastu susūkṣmamapi ca dvijāḥ | na tasyā labhate kvā'pi gatā māsā navaiva tu
Doch, o Zweimalgeborene, obgleich er selbst nach der feinsten, geringsten Lücke suchte, vermochte er an ihr keinerlei Fehl zu finden—bis neun Monate verstrichen waren.
