tatra dhyātvā samānītā pātālājjāhnavī nadī | martyaloke samāyātaṃ yasyāstoyaṃ sunirmalam

Translation

Dort wurde durch Versenkung der Fluss Jāhnavī (Gaṅgā) aus Pātāla heraufgeführt; und in der Welt der Sterblichen erschien ihr Wasser, überaus rein.
