क्षंतव्यं विप्रियं मह्यं यत्त्वां त्यक्त्वा रणं गतः । इत्यादि वचनैस्तेन वृंदा संस्मारिता तदा

Transliteration

kṣaṃtavyaṃ vipriyaṃ mahyaṃ yattvāṃ tyaktvā raṇaṃ gataḥ | ityādi vacanaistena vṛṃdā saṃsmāritā tadā

Translation

«Vergib mir, was dir von meiner Seite missfiel — dass ich dich verließ und in die Schlacht zog.» Mit solchen und weiteren Worten wurde Vṛndā damals getröstet und wieder zur Erinnerung gebracht.
