Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 36

लिंगेशैश्च तथा सर्वैः पूर्णमासीज्जगत्त्रयम् । तथा च वीरभद्रांशाः पूजार्थममरैः कृताः

liṃgeśaiśca tathā sarvaiḥ pūrṇamāsījjagattrayam | tathā ca vīrabhadrāṃśāḥ pūjārthamamaraiḥ kṛtāḥ

So wurden durch all diese Herren der Liṅgas die drei Welten von Heiligkeit erfüllt. Und die Unsterblichen formten auch Ausstrahlungen Vīrabhadras zum Zwecke der Verehrung.
