„Keiner von euch soll sich sorgen; durch die Gunst Śatakratus (Indra) werdet ihr sicher sein. Auch wenn ihr gefällt werdet, werdet ihr alle zu vielen Teilen werden und reich verzweigen.“
The Purodhas (or divine counselor) addressing the Trees (with Indra invoked)
Tirtha: Kedāra-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: A reassuring proclamation: by Indra’s favor, the trees need not fear; though cut, they will become many-parted/many-branched—an image of miraculous regeneration.
Divine grace can transform loss into renewed life; what is ‘cut down’ can return with greater multiplicity when aligned with cosmic purpose.
Kedāra-khaṇḍa’s Kedāra sacred landscape provides the frame, though the verse teaches a broader etiological and dharmic point.
None; it is reassurance and a mythic explanation tied to Indra’s favor.
