क्षमायोग्यावुभावेतौ नातिवर्तेत वै कथम् । पिता ह्यात्मानमाधत्ते जायायां जज्ञिवानिति

kṣamāyogyāvubhāvetau nātivarteta vai katham | pitā hyātmānamādhatte jāyāyāṃ jajñivāniti

Mutter und Vater sind beide der Nachsicht und Verehrung würdig—wie könnte man sie je überschreiten? Denn der Vater, der das Kind in seiner Gattin gezeugt hat, legt gleichsam sein eigenes Selbst in sie hinein.
