Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 63

इंद्रियाणां सात्त्विकाच्च त्रिगुणानि च तान्यपि । एतैः संसिद्धयंत्रेण सच्चिदानन्दवीक्षणात्

iṃdriyāṇāṃ sāttvikācca triguṇāni ca tānyapi | etaiḥ saṃsiddhayaṃtreṇa saccidānandavīkṣaṇāt

Und aus dem sattvischen Aspekt entstehen die indriya, die Kräfte der Wahrnehmung und des Handelns; auch sie wirken unter den drei guṇa. Durch dieses Werkzeug vollendeter Übung gelangt man, durch die Schau von Sat–Cit–Ānanda (Sein–Bewusstsein–Glückseligkeit), zur Erfüllung.
