Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 62

FAQs

Since the cosmos depends on the Lord’s will for creation, maintenance, and dissolution, the highest dharma is to seek refuge in Him.

No site is specified; the verse is a theological proclamation supporting universal surrender to the Lord.

Śaraṇa-vrajaṇa—taking refuge/surrender—is the spiritual act emphasized rather than a specific rite.
