Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 11

पश्यतां सर्वदेवानामवरुह्य वृषेंद्रतः । परिष्वज्य गणाधीशं प्रोवाच वृषभध्वजः

paśyatāṃ sarvadevānāmavaruhya vṛṣeṃdrataḥ | pariṣvajya gaṇādhīśaṃ provāca vṛṣabhadhvajaḥ

Vor den Augen aller Götter stieg der Herr, dessen Banner den Stier trägt, vom besten der Stiere, Nandin, herab. Gaṇeśa, den Herrn der Gaṇas, umarmend, sprach Vṛṣabhadhvaja (Śiva).
