Transliteration

nāmne rodimi me sraṣṭurnāma dehi pitāmaha | rodanādrudra ityākhyāṃ samāyā ḍiṃbhako labhat

Translation

„Ich weine um einen Namen—o Schöpfer, o Pitāmaha, gib mir einen Namen.“ Durch dieses Weinen erhielt das Kind die Benennung „Rudra“.
