गते तस्मिन्मुनिवरे वेपमानस्तदा गिरिः । पश्यत्युत्कंठमिव च गतश्चेत्साध्वभूत्ततः

Transliteration

gate tasminmunivare vepamānastadā giriḥ | paśyatyutkaṃṭhamiva ca gataścetsādhvabhūttataḥ

Translation

Als jener erhabenste der Weisen fortgegangen war, bebte der Berg und schaute ihm nach wie in Sehnsucht; doch als er entschwunden war, blieb er von da an wohlerzogen und gefügig.
