क्षणं संशीलयंस्तत्र ददर्श तपसोबलात् । न केवलं जहौ गेहं हुतभुक्चौदरीर्दरीः

Transliteration

kṣaṇaṃ saṃśīlayaṃstatra dadarśa tapasobalāt | na kevalaṃ jahau gehaṃ hutabhukcaudarīrdarīḥ

Translation

Nachdem er dort die Sache einen Augenblick geprüft hatte, erkannte er durch die Kraft seiner Askese: Das Feuer, Hutabhuk, hatte nicht nur seine Wohnstatt verlassen, sondern war in die Höhlen des Bauches, in seine inneren Schlupfwinkel, eingegangen.
