इत्थं परिष्टुत्य स कार्तिकेयं नमो नमस्त्वित्यभिभाषमाणः । द्विस्त्रिःपरिक्रम्य पुरो विवेश स्थितो मुनीशोपविशेति चोक्तः
itthaṃ pariṣṭutya sa kārtikeyaṃ namo namastvityabhibhāṣamāṇaḥ | dvistriḥparikramya puro viveśa sthito munīśopaviśeti coktaḥ
So pries er Kārtikeya und sprach immer wieder: „Ehrerbietung, Ehrerbietung Dir“, umschritt Ihn zwei- oder dreimal in Pradakṣiṇā und trat dann vor Ihn. Dort stehend wurde er angesprochen: „O Herr unter den Weisen, setze dich“.
