ब्रह्मंस्त्वद्वचनं सत्यं कदाचिन्न मृषा भवेत् । तदेतन्मंदभाग्यायाः कथमेतत्फलिष्यति

Transliteration

brahmaṃstvadvacanaṃ satyaṃ kadācinna mṛṣā bhavet | tadetanmaṃdabhāgyāyāḥ kathametatphaliṣyati

Translation

«O Brahmane, dein Wort ist Wahrheit; niemals kann es unwahr sein. Doch wie soll dies für eine so unglückselige wie mich Frucht tragen?»
