Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 78

कामहारैश्च वंशैश्च बद्धो हिन्दोलकः कृतः । आरूढाश्च महाकन्या गायन्ते सुस्वरं तदा

kāmahāraiśca vaṃśaiśca baddho hindolakaḥ kṛtaḥ | ārūḍhāśca mahākanyā gāyante susvaraṃ tadā

Eine Schaukel wurde gefertigt und mit Girlanden, die das Begehren erregen, sowie mit Bambusstangen festgebunden. Dann bestiegen die erhabenen Jungfrauen sie und sangen mit süßen, wohlgestimmten Stimmen.
