Transliteration

kośasyānto na vidyeta hastyaśvarathapattimān | itihāsapurāṇajñaiḥ paṇḍitaiḥ saha saṃkathām

Translation

Seine Schatzkammer kannte kein Ende, und er besaß Elefanten, Pferde, Wagen und Fußsoldaten. Er führte Gespräche mit gelehrten Weisen, kundig in Itihāsas und Purāṇas.
