एतस्मिन्नन्धकः काले चिन्तयामास भारत । तोषयामि महादेवं येन सानुग्रहो भवेत्
etasminnandhakaḥ kāle cintayāmāsa bhārata | toṣayāmi mahādevaṃ yena sānugraho bhavet
Zu jener Zeit, o Bhārata, dachte Andhaka nach: „Ich will Mahādeva besänftigen, damit er mir gnädig werde.“
