Transliteration

śrāddhibhyo vastrayugmāni chatropānatkamaṇḍalu | dakṣiṇā vividhā deyā pitṝnuddiśya bhārata

Translation

Den am Śrāddha teilnehmenden Brahmanen soll man Kleiderpaare geben, dazu einen Schirm, Schuhwerk und ein Kamaṇḍalu (Wassergefäß); und vielfältige Gaben (Dakṣiṇā) sind darzubringen, o Bhārata, in Erinnerung an die Pitṛs.
