बीजयोन्यविशुद्धस्तु यथा रुद्रं न विन्दति । तथा लाङ्गलमन्त्रोऽपि न तिष्ठति गतायुषि

Transliteration

bījayonyaviśuddhastu yathā rudraṃ na vindati | tathā lāṅgalamantro'pi na tiṣṭhati gatāyuṣi

Translation

Wie einer, dessen Same und Geschlecht unrein sind, Rudra nicht erlangt, so bleibt auch das Lāṅgala-Mantra nicht wirksam bei dem, dessen Lebensspanne aufgebraucht ist, der geistig erschöpft am Ende steht.
