ब्रह्मोवाच । प्रावृट्कालो ह्यहं ब्रह्मा आपश्चैव प्रकीर्तिताः । मेघरूपो ह्यहं प्रोक्तो वर्षयामि च भूतले
brahmovāca | prāvṛṭkālo hyahaṃ brahmā āpaścaiva prakīrtitāḥ | megharūpo hyahaṃ prokto varṣayāmi ca bhūtale
Brahmā sprach: „Ich bin die Regenzeit (prāvṛṭ), und auch als die Wasser werde ich gepriesen. Man sagt, ich sei von Wolkengestalt, und ich lasse den Regen auf die Erde niedergehen.“
