अनसूया जपं त्यक्त्वा निरीक्ष्य तान्मुहुर्मुहुः । उत्थिता सा विशालाक्षी अर्घं दत्त्वा यथाविधि

anasūyā japaṃ tyaktvā nirīkṣya tānmuhurmuhuḥ | utthitā sā viśālākṣī arghaṃ dattvā yathāvidhi

Anasūyā, ihren Japa einen Augenblick unterbrechend, blickte sie immer wieder an. Dann erhob sich die Großäugige und brachte ihnen nach rechter Vorschrift Arghya dar, die ehrerbietige Wassergabe.
