द्वितीयतृतीयावरणपूजाक्रमः | The Sequence of the Second and Third Enclosure Worship (Āvaraṇa-pūjā)

नैरृते तु यजेत्खड्गं पाशं वारुणगोचरे । अंकुशं मारुते भागे पिनाकं चोत्तरे यजेत्

Transliteration

nairṛte tu yajetkhaḍgaṃ pāśaṃ vāruṇagocare | aṃkuśaṃ mārute bhāge pinākaṃ cottare yajet

Translation

In der Richtung Nairṛti (Südwesten) soll man das Schwert verehren; im Bereich, der Varuṇa untersteht, die Schlinge (pāśa). Im Viertel des Vāyu soll man den Treibhaken (aṅkuśa) verehren; und im Norden Pināka, Śivas Bogen.
