यं मे दुरिन्द्रो मरुतः पाकस्थामा कौरयाणः । विश्वेषां त्मना शोभिष्ठमुपेव दिवि धावमानम् ॥

yaṃ me dur índro marútaḥ pā́ka-sthāmā́ kaurayā́ṇaḥ | víśveṣāṃ tmanā́ śóbhīṣṭham úpeva diví dhā́vamānam ||

Den, den mir Indra und die Maruts, der Reifer des Unreifen, in Bewegung setzten – unter allen in eigenem Wesen am strahlendsten, dahinstürmend, als wäre er nahe dem Himmel –, ihn halte ich als die schnelle Kraft des Aufstiegs im inneren Firmament.
