Sukta 7.27
नू चिन्न इन्द्रो मघवा सहूती दानो वाजं नि यमते न ऊती । अनूना यस्य दक्षिणा पीपाय वामं नृभ्यो अभिवीता सखिभ्यः ॥
nū́ cín na índro maghávā sahū́tī dā́no vā́jaṁ ní yamate na ūtī́ | anū́nā yásya dákṣiṇā pīpā́ya vā́maṁ nṛ́-bhyo abhí-vītā sákhī-bhyaḥ ||
Auch jetzt hält Indra, der freigebige Maghavan, bei unserem gemeinsamen Anruf die Fülle der Kraft zurück und bewahrt sie uns zur Hilfe. Unerschöpflich ist seine dakṣiṇā: sie schwillt an und mehrt sich, bringt den Menschen das Erwünschte — den Gefährten, die (ihn) suchen.
