अनु प्र येजे जन ओजो अस्य सत्रा दधिरे अनु वीर्याय । स्यूमगृभे दुधयेऽर्वते च क्रतुं वृञ्जन्त्यपि वृत्रहत्ये ॥

Transliteration

ánu prá yeje jáná ójo asya satrā́ dadhire ánu vīryā́ya | syūmá-gṛbhe dúdhaye 'rváte ca krátum vṛñjánty ápi vṛtrahátye ||

Translation

Die Menschen folgen ihm und verehren seine Macht; standhaft richten sie sich nach seiner vīrya, der Heldenkraft. Um des Ergreifens des Zuwachses willen, um des Spendens und um des Rosses des Fortschritts willen wählen sie den kratú — Willen und rechte Einsicht — selbst zur vṛtra-hatyá, zur Tötung Vṛtras, des Verhüllers.
