Sukta 6.18
स यो न मुहे न मिथू जनो भूत्सुमन्तुनामा चुमुरिं धुनिं च । वृणक्पिप्रुं शम्बरं शुष्णमिन्द्रः पुरां च्यौत्नाय शयथाय नू चित् ॥
sa yó na múhe na mithū́ jánō bhūt sumántu-nāmā́ cumúrim dhúnim ca | vṛṇák piprúṃ śámbaraṃ śúṣṇam índraḥ purā́ṃ cyautnā́ya śayáthāya nū́ cit ||
Er, der unter den Sterblichen nicht verwirrt und nicht falsch ist – mit Namen Sumantunā („Guter Rat“) – erschlug Cumuri und Dhuni. Indra streckte Pipru, Śambara, Śuṣṇa nieder; selbst die alten Burgen ließ er stürzen, zu ihrer Zerschmetterung.
