वरा इवेद्रैवतासो हिरण्यैरभि स्वधाभिस्तन्वः पिपिश्रे । श्रिये श्रेयांसस्तवसो रथेषु सत्रा महांसि चक्रिरे तनूषु ॥

Transliteration

varā́ ived raivatā́so híraṇyair abhí svadhā́bhiḥ tanváḥ pipiśre | śríye śréyāṃsas taváso rátheṣu satrā́ mahā́ṃsi cakrire tanū́ṣu ||

Translation

Wie auserlesene Freier, reich an Gut, haben sie mit ihren eigenen innewohnenden Kräften (svadhā), mit Gold, ihre Leiber geformt und geschmückt. Um der Herrlichkeit willen werden sie noch herrlicher, stark auf ihren Wagen; allzumal haben sie Großheiten in ihren Gestalten hervorgebracht.
