Sukta 5.54
न स जीयते मरुतो न हन्यते न स्रेधति न व्यथते न रिष्यति । नास्य राय उप दस्यन्ति नोतय ऋषिं वा यं राजानं वा सुषूदथ ॥
ná sá jī́yate maruto ná hányate ná srédhati ná vyáthate ná ríṣyati | nā́sya rā́ya úpa dasyanti nótaya ṛ́ṣiṁ vā yáṁ rā́jānaṁ vā suṣū́datha ||
Er wird nicht bezwungen, o Maruts, und nicht erschlagen; er strauchelt nicht, er bebt nicht, er erleidet keinen Schaden — der, den ihr ganz zur Sieghaftigkeit führt. Sein Reichtum schwindet nicht, und seine Hilfen weichen nicht von ihm — sei es ein Rishi oder ein König, den ihr zum vollkommenen Überwinden antreibt.
