Sukta 5.23
स हि ष्मा विश्वचर्षणिरभिमाति सहो दधे । अग्न एषु क्षयेष्वा रेवन्नः शुक्र दीदिहि द्युमत्पावक दीदिहि ॥
sá hí ṣmā viśvácarṣaṇir abhímāti sáho dadhé | ágna eṣú kṣáyeṣv ā́ révann aḥ śukra dīdihi dyumát pāvaka dīdihi ||
Denn er, wahrlich, der allumfassende Lenker der Menschen, richtet seine sieghafte Kraft gegen die angreifenden Mächte. O Agni, in diesen unseren Wohnstätten leuchte uns mit Reichtum, o Glänzender; lodere, o lichtvoller Läuterer (pāvaka), lodere.
