Sukta 2.31
उत त्ये देवी सुभगे मिथूदृशोषासानक्ता जगतामपीजुवा । स्तुषे यद्वां पृथिवि नव्यसा वचः स्थातुश्च वयस्त्रिवया उपस्तिरे ॥
utá tyé devī́ subhágē mithū-dṛ́śo uṣásā-náktā jágatām api-júvā | stuṣé yád vāṃ pṛthivi návyasā vácas sthātúś ca váyas trí-vayā upa-stíre ||
Und auch jene beiden Göttinnen, das glückselige Paar mit einem Blick — Uṣas und Naktā, Morgenröte und Nacht — die alles Bewegte der Welten vorwärtstreiben: euch preise ich, wenn, o Erde, mit einem neueren Wort das stehende Wesen und die geflügelten Kräfte des dreifachen Lebens sich als Lager, als Grund, zu deinem Wachstum ausbreiten.
