स इदग्निः कण्वतमः कण्वसखार्यः परस्यान्तरस्य तरुषः । अग्निः पातु गृणतो अग्निः सूरीनग्निर्ददातु तेषामवो नः ॥

Transliteration

sá íd agníḥ kaṇvátamaḥ kaṇvásakhā́ryáḥ parásyā́ntarasya tár uṣaḥ | agníḥ pātu gṛṇató agníḥ sūrī́n agnír dadātu téṣām ávo naḥ ||

Translation

Er ist wahrlich Agni, der Vorzüglichste unter den Kaṇvas, der Gefährte der Kaṇvas, der Edle, der Überwinder dessen, was jenseits ist, und dessen, was innen ist. Agni schütze den Sänger; Agni schütze die Seher-Herren; Agni gewähre uns ihren Beistand.
