तक्वा न भूर्णिर्वना सिषक्ति पयो न धेनुः शुचिर्विभावा ॥

takvā́ ná bhūrṇír vánā sisakti | páyo ná dhenúḥ śúcir vibhā́vā ||

Wie ein Schneller, wie ein wirbelnder Ansturm, heftet er sich durch die Wälder; wie eine Milchkuh gibt er den nährenden Strom: rein, weithin leuchtend, gießt Agni seine lichtvolle Nahrung aus.
