नि त्वामग्ने मनुर्दधे ज्योतिर्जनाय शश्वते । दीदेथ कण्व ऋतजात उक्षितो यं नमस्यन्ति कृष्टयः ॥
Transliteration
ní tvām agne mánuḥ dadhé jyótir jánāya śáśvate | dī́detha kaṇva ṛtá-jāta ukṣitó yáṃ namasyánti kŕ̥ṣṭayaḥ ||
Translation
Manu setzte dich ein, o Agni, als Licht für das Volk auf ewig. Du lodert auf, o Kaṇva, aus Ṛta geboren und gekräftigt – dem die Menschengeschlechter in Verehrung sich neigen.
