उत न ईं मरुतो वृद्धसेनाः स्मद्रोदसी समनसः सदन्तु । पृषदश्वासोऽवनयो न रथा रिशादसो मित्रयुजो न देवाः ॥

Transliteration

utá na īṃ marúto vṛ́ddhasenā́ḥ smád rodasī́ sámanasaḥ sadantu | pṛ́ṣadaśvāso’vánayo ná rathā́ riśā́daso mitráyújo ná devā́ḥ ||

Translation

Und mögen die Maruts, mit ihren erstarkten Scharen, mit uns in einem Sinn sich niedersetzen, zusammen mit Himmel und Erde. Mit scheckigen Rossen, wie Wagen der Waldfluren, Feindverzehrer, zur Freundschaft angespannt – mögen diese Götter Platz nehmen.
