सहस्रं त इन्द्रोतयो नः सहस्रमिषो हरिवो गूर्ततमाः । सहस्रं रायो मादयध्यै सहस्रिण उप नो यन्तु वाजाः ॥

sahásraṃ ta indrótayo naḥ sahásram íṣo harivo gū́rtatamāḥ | sahásraṃ rā́yo mādayádhyai sahasríṇa úpa no yantu vā́jāḥ ||

Tausend sind deine Hilfen für uns, o Indra; tausend deine Nährungen, o Herr der fahlen Rosse, der am eifrigsten angerufen wird. Tausend sind die Füllen der Wonne zu unserer Ekstase; mögen die tausendfachen Kräfte des Gelingens, die Vājas, uns nahekommen.
