Sarga 95: Lamentation in Laṅkā and the Causal Chain of Enmity

नास्तिनःशरणंकश्चिद्भयेमहतितिष्ठताम् ।।।।दावाग्निवेष्टितानांहिकरेणूनांयथावने ।

nāsti naḥ śaraṇaṃ kaścid bhaye mahati tiṣṭhatām | dāvāgniveṣṭitānāṃ hi kareṇūnāṃ yathā vane ||

Für uns, die wir in großer Furcht stehen, gibt es wahrlich keine Zuflucht—wie Elefantenkühe im Wald, von einem wütenden Flächenbrand umringt.
