The Slaying of Indrajit
धर्मात्मासत्यसन्धश्चरामोदाशरथिर्यति ।।।।पौरुषेचाप्रतिद्वन्द्वःशरैनंजसिरावणिम् ।
dharmātmā satyasaṃdhaś ca rāmo dāśarathir yadi |
pauruṣe cāpratidvandvaḥ śareṇaṃ jahi rāvaṇim ||
„Wenn Rāma, der Sohn Daśarathas, wahrhaft dharmisch gesinnt, der Wahrheit treu und an Tapferkeit ohne Widerpart ist, dann—durch diesen Pfeil—erschlage den Rāvaṇi (Indrajit).“
"If Dasharatha's son, Sri Rama is righteous, truthful, of unrivalled valour and true to his promise this arrow will kill Indrajith."
