The Slaying of Indrajit

Son of Saumithri, that prosperous Lakshmana, drawing Indra's missile, the foremost one, and also the best of arrows, which has never been defeated, spoke these words set to achieve the purpose.
Dharma here is purposeful action in service of righteousness: Lakṣmaṇa prepares a decisive act to remove a major threat to the just cause.
Lakṣmaṇa readies the undefeated Aindra weapon and begins a solemn declaration before releasing it.
Kṛtaniścaya (firm resolve) and focused duty: he acts with clarity to fulfill the mission aligned with Rāma’s dharma.
