इन्द्रजित्-वधः
The Slaying of Indrajit
तेनतद्विहतंशस्त्रंवारुणंपरमाद्भुतम् ।।।।ततःक्रुद्धोमहातेजाइन्द्रजित्समितिञ्जयः ।आग्नेयंसन्दधेदीप्तं स लोकंसङ्क्षिपन्निव ।।।।
tena tad vihataṃ śastraṃ vāruṇaṃ paramādbhutam | tataḥ kruddho mahātejā indrajit samitiñjayaḥ | āgneyaṃ sandadhe dīptaṃ sa lokaṃ saṅkṣipann iva ||
Dadurch wurde die wunderbare Waffe Varuṇas getroffen und unwirksam gemacht. Da rüstete Indrajit — zornentbrannt, von großer Glut erfüllt, siegreich im Streit — die strahlende Agni-Waffe, als wolle er die Welt selbst verzehren.
